{"id":69655,"date":"2014-09-26T10:45:00","date_gmt":"2014-09-26T08:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/69655\/roseacres-squashes-rumours-of-closure\/"},"modified":"2014-09-26T11:51:36","modified_gmt":"2014-09-26T09:51:36","slug":"roseacres-squashes-rumours-of-closure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2014\/09\/26\/roseacres-squashes-rumours-of-closure\/","title":{"rendered":"Roseacres squashes rumours of closure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As the water crisis continues, residents are becoming more and more desperate for answers.<\/p>\n<p>In this fragile time many rumours are beginning to do the rounds.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>One such rumour was that Roseacres was unable to continue with surgeries at its facility, due to water outages.<\/p>\n<p>The GCN immediately approached the hospital to get clarity on the situation.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Mpho Lethoko, senior communications consultant for the Life Group, said: \u201cIn regard to the information you received that the hospital has been closed due to water shortages, we would like to categorically state that this is absolutely not true.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe hospital has never been closed and remains open at all times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll units in the hospital are currently operating as normal and patients, doctors and staff members have not been negatively affected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lethoko went on to explain how Life Healthcare\u2019s hospitals maintain their water level.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLife Healthcare\u2019s hospitals all have water reservoir tanks which are maintained at optimum levels,&#8221;
