{"id":67572,"date":"2014-08-27T12:55:00","date_gmt":"2014-08-27T10:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/67572\/house-robbers-abandon-two-stolen-vehicles-and-leave-behind-two-firearms\/"},"modified":"2014-08-27T12:59:01","modified_gmt":"2014-08-27T10:59:01","slug":"house-robbers-abandon-two-stolen-vehicles-and-leave-behind-two-firearms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2014\/08\/27\/house-robbers-abandon-two-stolen-vehicles-and-leave-behind-two-firearms\/","title":{"rendered":"House robbers abandon two stolen vehicles and leave behind two firearms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The intensive pursuit, on Monday afternoon, by EMPD Community Liaison Unit members of a stolen Toyota Corolla that was used as a getaway vehicle, after a house robbery in Johannesburg, ended in Tokoza.<\/p>\n<p>The chase yielded the recovery of two stolen vehicles and two stolen pistols.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>The robbery in the Johannesburg area took place at about 3pm and the recoveries by the Metro Police occurred at 5.30pm.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Metro Police put on so much heat that the five suspects got cold feet and abandoned the stolen BMW that was escorting their accomplices in a stolen Toyota Corolla from the house robbery;
