season 2013 is open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s that time of the year again when you have to complete and submit your Income Tax Return (ITR12).<\/p>\n<p>SARS will help you through Tax Season 2013 with all you need to know, so you can file easily, honestly and on time.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>To avoid long queues at the branches they offer a free-of-charge service to assist staff with e-file submissions at their workplace.<\/p>\n<p>The innovative Help-You-eFile services, as well as the eFiling MobiApp for smart phones are now also available.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Beware of fraudsters:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unfortunately, criminals often try to use tax season to take advantage of unsuspecting taxpayers.<\/p>\n<p>Taxpayers must be aware of scams requesting personal, tax, banking and eFiling information (login credentials, passwords, pins, credit\/debit card information, etc).<\/p>\n<p>Change in personal information or confirmation thereof should be done at your nearest SARS branch office.<\/p>\n<p>Concerned taxpayers should email: phishing@sars.gov.za<\/p>\n<p>SARS also provides a wide range of free tax educational workshops, presented at the Edenvale branch
