on standby for load shedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The metro alerts residents to the fact that it is on standby to implement load shedding, should Eskom deem it fit to do so.<\/p>\n<p>Ekurhuleni&#8217;s readiness follows Eskom&#8217;s call for the implementation of emergency load shedding, last Thursday.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Accordingly, the municipality&#8217;s standard load shedding schedules are available on the metro&#8217;s website, at www.ekurhuleni.gov.za, or residents can just follow the link: http:\/\/ekurhuleni.gov.za\/yourservices\/energy\/power-cuts\/load-shedding-schedules, to familiarise themselves with schedules.<\/p>\n<p>Areas that are directly
