The Caxton Reynolds Race kicked off on a high note, on June 7, at Hirsch’s Boksburg.<\/p>\n
The eager and energetic teams braved the cold weather, all hoping to score high in their first task of the race.<\/p>
The Reynolds Race is based on television’s popular \u201cAmazing Race\u201d, and will require participating teams to complete various tasks across the East Rand, in order to win the big prize.<\/p>\n
The prize in this year\u2019s race is an all-expenses paid trip to Zanzibar, courtesy of the SA Reynolds Travel Centre.<\/p>
A points system will be used to monitor the teams’ performances and to score them accordingly<\/p>\n
The first team to finish a task within the given time walks away with bragging rights and top points, that will be added to their overall score card.<\/p>\n
The three teams with the most points by the end of the seventh week will all go into the finals, that will be held in Springs, on August 2.<\/p>\n
