{"id":60506,"date":"2014-05-24T14:30:13","date_gmt":"2014-05-24T12:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/60506\/sas-economic-social-transformation-cards\/"},"modified":"2014-05-24T19:43:57","modified_gmt":"2014-05-24T17:43:57","slug":"sas-economic-social-transformation-cards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2014\/05\/24\/sas-economic-social-transformation-cards\/","title":{"rendered":"SA\u2019s Economic and social transformation on the cards"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='tie-fluid-width-video-wrapper tie-ignore-fitvid' style='margin-bottom: 30px;'>\n\t\t\t<iframe style='width: 100%; min-height: 300px; aspect-ratio: 16\/9;' src='https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/BJg1hpI5E9A' loading='lazy'><\/iframe>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<p>PRETORIA &#8211; President Jacob Zuma\u2019s inauguration speech focused mostly on the National Development Plan 2013; in which he committed to seeing through the implementation of the program.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cWe have already placed before the nation, the National Development Plan, our road map which outlines the type of society we envisage by the year 2030.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThrough this program, we will move South Africa forward to prosperity and success.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt a social level, as outlined in the NDP, our vision is to develop communities where households will have access to housing, water, electricity, sanitation, safe and reliable public transport, health, education, security, recreational facilities, a clean environment and adequate nutrition to count a few.\u201d<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>A more confident President Zuma acknowledged the progress South Africa made in 20 years, he said, \u201cToday we wish to acknowledge the contribution of every South African to the process of renewal, reconstruction and development of this country in the past 20 years of freedom.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is through your hard work, that we are able to count so many achievements in only 20 years of freedom.
