We believe that “together we can achieve more than our individual efforts combined”.<\/p>\n

This is the belief of the group of South African welfare organisations that have come together for this Tekkie Tax Day.<\/p>

Tekkie Tax Day will held on Friday, May 30, nationwide.<\/p>\n

Members of the public are asked to get a Tekkie Tax sticker for a R10 donation.<\/p>

<\/div>\n

There are five different stickers, each representing a different beneficiary sector.<\/p>\n

Depending on where your heart lies, you can choose from one of the five sectors; you are, of course, welcome to choose more than one.<\/p>\n

The sectors are: Animals, Basic Family Care, Children, Disability and Education<\/p>\n

“The aim is for the community to show their support by wearing the stickers they have purchased and their takkies on May 30,” said Janene de Beer.<\/p>\n

“If they want to walk the extra mile, there are also special shoelaces called “Tekkie Tags” available.”<\/p>\n
