{"id":55919,"date":"2014-03-25T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2014-03-25T07:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/55919\/will-you-cross-the-line\/"},"modified":"2014-03-25T10:33:14","modified_gmt":"2014-03-25T08:33:14","slug":"will-you-cross-the-line","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/sports-news\/2014\/03\/25\/will-you-cross-the-line\/","title":{"rendered":"Will you cross the line?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 13, The Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre will host the fourth annual Birchwood Cross the Line Half-Marathon.<\/p>\n<p>Building on the success of last year&#8217;s race, which attracted over 2 000 runners, The Birchwood Athletics Club will be introducing a new route and, once again, great prizes can to be won from The Birchwood and the event sponsors.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re a leisurely runner or a trained athlete, the event caters for the whole family, with options of a 5km, 10km and 21.1km route available.<\/p>\n<p>As an added incentive, break the current record for the 21.1km route and The Birchwood will double the prize money.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>The times to beat are available on The Birchwood&#8217;s Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>Online entries are now open and print flyers are available at The Birchwood Hotel for collection, and can be dropped off at any one of the following venues:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Birchwood Hotel: View Point Road, Boksburg &#8211;
