free healthcare to the community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Residents are reminded of the Rotary Family Health Days.<\/p>\n<p>Civil society, big business and the government will team up from April 2 to 4, to promote family health and create awareness of polio, HIV\/Aids, tuberculosis (TB) and non-communicable diseases.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Other services over the three days will include TB symptomatic screening, diabetes and blood pressure screening, measles vaccinations, deworming and the dispensing of Vitamin A.<\/p>\n<p>This is an initiative of Rotarians For Family Health and Aids Prevention Inc (RFHA), Rotary&#8217;s mobilising and implementing partner in the area of disease prevention, including HIV\/Aids.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Rotarians for Family Health and AIDS Prevention (RFHA) is a global Rotarian action group and mobilising partner of Rotary International.<\/p>\n<p>The Family Health Days are a comprehensive, holistic offering of free healthcare for parents, children, grandparents, friends and all family members in over 143 sites across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately 4 000 Rotarians from 225 Rotary clubs will be volunteering between 9am and 4pm daily, and working the sites to assist the medical staff to deliver the services to South Africans.<\/p>\n<p>Community members are welcome to visit the sites for free healthcare during the Family Health Days.<\/p>\n<p>The Edenvale, Boksburg Lake and Johannesburg East Rotary clubs will be volunteering at the Wannenberg Clinic, during the Family Health Days.<\/p>\n<p>The clinic is situated at the corner of Mimosa and Pretoria roads, in
