Make sure it is still insulated all the way, accidentally picking up a lead with an open wire can be a shocking experience!<\/li>\n<li>If you are assembling something, read the instructions.\u00a0 Ten minutes lost checking the correct procedure for new tools or parts can save you a lot of hassles.<\/li>\n<li>Always wear the right safety equipment, gloves and safety glasses might not make you look like a model, but they will save your eyes and hands.<\/li>\n<li>Protect your back! Do some reading on the right way to lift heavy objects. Always make sure there is someone ready to help you, just in case,<\/li>\n<li>Leave things like connecting live wires to the professionals.
