residents&#8217; concerns were brought to the GCN&#8217;s attention on September 3, by Myrtle Botha, a resident whose car was damaged by a huge pile of unmarked sand left in Botha Street overnight.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>The major concern is that the large hole and the accompanying sand have no safety barriers or safety markings of any kind to warn the public that it is there.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_43715\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-43715\" style=\"width: 423px\" class=\"wp-caption considered a construction site, the site is required to follow safety procedures as set out in the Operational Health and Safety Act.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post
