\u2022 Restrictions on accompaniment to consultation rooms.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Special consent forms regarding the unusual circumstances and increased overall risk linked to the Covid-19 outbreak.<\/p>\n
\u2022 More frequent telephonic rather than in-person consultations.<\/p>\n
2. Routine screening of all people entering the hospital\u2019s facilities to identify present signs and symptoms of Covid-19 infection to establish the risk of exposure.<\/p>\n

\u2022 All visiting hours for general wards, ICU and high care units have been suspended.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Nurseries and neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) – one parent at a time will be allowed to visit newborns, the parent will be subject to strict screening criteria prior to hospital admission.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Paediatric wards – only one parent at a time will be permitted to sleep-in with an admitted paediatric patient. The parent will be subject to strict screening criteria prior to hospital admission.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Critically ill patients – visitors will be allowed, by exception, and only with the consent of the hospital manager. Visitors will be subject to strict screening criteria and will be expected to wear a mask for the duration of the visit.<\/p>\n
4. Universal masking – all healthcare workers, employees, outsourced services and people entering\/admitted to the facility are required to wear a mask at all times.<\/p>\n
5. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to all employees and doctors in line with clinical standards. Employees are trained on the appropriate use of PPEs.<\/p>\n
6. Social distancing will be enforced throughout all areas of all Life Healthcare facilities.<\/p>\n
