The Covid-19 pandemic is having a massive impact on the lives of everyone in our communities, and as lockdown continues so does the effort to win the battle against the virus.

“We are working in solidarity with the communities that we operate in, and across a number of different charitable organisations to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic and its related challenges,” said Betway SA marketing manager David Rachidi.

A R2-million donation from Betway was recently made.

Betway SA has done tremendous work in underprivileged communities, creating opportunities for them to play soccer, handing out soccer gear and upgrading the schools’ soccer fields.

The donation will be used to support national food relief efforts and the delivery of vital supplies that may be needed by the beneficiaries to continue to function normally while managing the impact of the outbreak.

“However, extra time shouldn’t mean extra spend.

“This challenging period has given the community an opportunity to come together and make a difference,” said Rachidi.
