Eskom bumps up loadshedding to stage two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a day of stage one loadshedding Eskom has announced that loadshedding will be bumped up to stage two this morning (March 10).<\/p>\n<p>The company said in a statement that loadshedding needed to be implemented due to a number of unexpected breakdowns.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The company stated that, regrettably, loadshedding was likely to continue for the rest of the week as there have been delays in returning some generation units to service.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">Stage two calls for 2000MW to be rotationally loadshed nationally at a given period.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">Loadshedding is conducted rotationally as a measure of last resort to protect the power
