community market.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the rain the market was well attended and residents were able to enjoy a variety of stalls.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Rest-a-While manager Trudy Carreira was pleased with how the event, which managed to raise R1 734 for the centre, turned out.<\/p>\n<h4>ALSO READ:\u00a0<a Rest-a-While<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>Trudy is appealing to the elderly of the community to come and join the centre as a member.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>The centre hosts several fun activities each week, including, skills development mornings, bingo and line dancing.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the centre hosts special celebrations for days such as Valentine\u2019s Day, Mother\u2019s and Father\u2019s Day, as well as, Easter and Christmas.<\/p>\n<h4>ALSO READ:\u00a0<a class=\"anchor_post\"
