killed and two injured in N17 collision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Netcare 911 paramedics were called to the scene of a light motor vehicle collision on the N17 highway, near Rand Airport, at around vehicle had struck two pedestrians who were crossing the road,\u201d explained Shawn Herbst, media liaison officer for Netcare 911.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe impact resulted in the vehicle rolling several times before it came to rest in a ditch in a nearby veld.\u201d<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Paramedics on scene confirmed the pedestrians, both men believed to be in their 30s, had sustained fatal injuries.<\/p>\n<p>They were declared dead on the scene.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALSO READ: <\/strong><strong><a class=\"anchor_post\" interventions to stabilise him,\u201d said Herbst.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis female passenger sustained moderate injuries in the rollover.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both were treated on scene and once stabilised they
