If you have never taken part, now is your chance. And if you have, there is no better time for you and your package to return to the 10<sup>th<\/sup> installment of this iconic cancer awareness event.<\/p>\n<p>The last 10 Daredevil Runs have brought men together to raise awareness about cancers affecting men particularly prostate and testicular cancer. If you are not into running don\u2019t worry, it\u2019s not a race.\u00a0 We are however trying send cancer packing by improving the publics\u2019 knowledge and getting as many men tested as possible.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>You don\u2019t need to be someone who exercises regularly or be ripped to take part. The Daredevil Run is for every size of bicep, boep or bum. Come on guys, the distance is only 5km, you do more walking to the coffee machine and back in a week at \u00a0the office. You don\u2019t even have to run! You and your mates can even quench your thirst by grabbing a beer at the halfway point and at the end of the run.<\/p>\n<p>Just show up on the day and you can get yourself tested, prior to the run, or at the Hollard Campus when you pick up your race pack (see below). \u00adA Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test is used for screening as it can detect prostate cancer even before symptoms occur.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>To obtain accurate PSA screening results, please refrain from cycling or sex beforehand!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-324360 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/fourwaysreview.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2020\/02\/IMG_6225_76671-e1581072413695-800x534.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The 2020 edition will be taking place on <strong>Friday the 13 March<\/strong> at Zoo Lake Sports Club, c\/o Lower Park \/ Prince of Wales \/ Westwold, Parkwood.<\/p>\n<p>It is as simple as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum donation of R100 (R50 for under 18\u2019s) is required<\/li>\n<li>R50 for a Daredevil Speedo if you\u2019re a first timer or need a new one (Get yourself a special 10th anniversary edition with gold text!),<\/li>\n<li>R10 for admin fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your entrance donation will go to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) and the Prostate Cancer Foundation. 80% of the donations go to the CANSA funding of the Hollard MANVan. 20% of the donations are given to the Prostate Cancer Foundation and are used for cancer awareness and research programmes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-324362 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/fourwaysreview.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2020\/02\/IMG_6189_92225-e1581072579324-800x534.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is so easy to enter! To avoid disappointment, please ensure that packs are collected from the Hollard campus at the given times.<\/p>\n<p>Stop talking bollocks and take care of your crowned jewels. Once you have booked your place all you have to do is <strong>have the balls<\/strong> to show up on the day, <strong>get tested<\/strong> and run (<strong>or walk<\/strong>) 5km.
