Nominations are now open to nominate your best butchery in the 2020 Cleaver Awards.<\/p>\n

Fifteen years on, these national butchery awards are still the sought-after seal of approval that awards those butcheries that meet the needs of their consumers in terms of in-store hygiene, the supply of quality assured roller marked South African beef, their ability to offer the best advice on meal preparations, as well as perceived value for money.<\/p>

The presentation of Cleaver Awards annually is a unique and proven platform that continually raises standards among butcheries.<\/p>\n

Feedback from consumers show that the majority perceive the Cleaver Awards to be a seal of approval, most importantly because a butchery cannot enter themselves and can only be nominated by their customers.<\/p>

New to the nomination process this year is that butcheries have to register in order to be eligible for nomination.<\/p>\n

Already there are over 450 butcheries registered.<\/p>\n

Once registered, they are given a unique number which consumers then need in order to nominate them.<\/p>\n

If your favourite butchery isn\u2019t registered urge them to register at www.beeftalk.co.za and consumers can nominate their butcheries on the website.<\/p>\n

Nominations are open until the end of March 2020.<\/p>\n

Next year, there will also be six consumer prizes awarded to consumers who nominate those butcheries who win national Cleaver Awards.<\/p>\n
