I recently discovered a huge leak at the bottom of my garden.<\/p>

I phoned the number on my municipal statement and got through to the call-taking centre; however, after the welcome message it cut me off.<\/p>\n

I then contacted my ward councillor, Graham Gersbach, sent him a photo of the leak and asked if he could help me with the problem.<\/p>

<\/div>\n

Within 10 minutes he sent me a reference number.<\/p>\n

The following day, in the pouring rain, four Ekurhuleni employees arrived and sorted out the problem.<\/p>\n

I thank them very much for their work on a Sunday in the rain.<\/p>\n

They were all lovely people with such a good attitudes, many thanks.<\/p>\n
