does not give up hope for Dukathole\u2019s children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The rainy day did not stop the children from Hlabologang and Happy Cave Early Development Centre smiling and singing as they enjoyed their annual year-end event.<\/p>\n<p>They celebrated the end of the school year at the centre in Minnie Street, Dukathole, last Saturday.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<div class='tie-fluid-width-video-wrapper tie-ignore-fitvid' style='margin-bottom: 30px;'>\n\t\t\t<iframe style='width: 100%; min-height: 300px; aspect-ratio: 16\/9;' src='https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/7HIWoPy1CJc' loading='lazy'><\/iframe>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<p>The school was founded in 2017 by Nthabiseng Doreen Olyn.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>ALSO READ:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p children<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Olyn is a qualified social auxiliary worker, but due to the unemployment rate, decided to open up her own day-care centre.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo eradicate poverty in this disadvantaged area, I decided to assist the community by opening up the day care with my social auxiliary experience,\u201d said Olyn.<\/p>\n<p>The day-care centre works with children from infancy to Grade Seven, as well as children with disabilities<\/p>\n<p>The annual school fees keep the centre running.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI applied for a financial grant two years in a row, but I was not successful,\u201d said Olyn<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have not given up hope because in the community the children are not safe in the streets, so they need care and education.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI strive with whatever I get every day and I do it from the bottom of my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The children enjoyed the rest of their afternoon as they enjoyed a meal and proudly sang the National
