the Marathon informal settlement this evening (Sunday, December 8), as they have been blocked by protesting residents.<\/p>\n<h4>ALSO READ:\u00a0<a class=\"anchor_post\" Germiston<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>\u201cThe affected roads include Cemetery, Johan Rissik and Main Reef roads,\u201d explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cResidents have used portable toilets and burning tyres to block the roads.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is reported that the community are protesting against an alleged lack of service delivery by the metro.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThey claim that their portable toilets, which are full and stinking, have not been drained by the metro for some time,\u201d explained Maome.<\/p>\n<h4>ALSO
