Valke Rugby League last Saturday.

The youngsters’ campaign picked up momentum when the boys beat Boksburg in the semi-final 15-5.
<div class="stream-item stream-item-in-post pressure applied by the Eagles backline,” said Chris Fritz, one of the coaches of the team.

“This caused a lot of errors from the Boksburg side and the Eagles capitalised and scored the opening try.”

With the semi-final win in the bag the youngsters prepared themselves for the final against Bobbies.

It was a tough encounter from the get go with both sides giving their all.

“As the match progressed the Eagles forward pack came more into the game with their dominance at the break downs supplying their backline with quick balls.

“The backs came into their own with some sublime handling, running riot with all the balls they received from the forwards,” said Fritz.

ALSO READ:

<a
