Community members were treated to a fun-filled community market at Copper Canyon Spur last Saturday.<\/p>\n

The market, the first of many, was a joint initiative by Copper Canyon Spur and local entrepreneurs JP and Natalie van Coppenhagen.<\/p>

\u201cThe initiative aims to give the community a platform to exhibit and sell their products and services free of charge,\u201d said Natalie.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope the market day will bring the community together in a safe family-friendly environment, support local entrepreneurs and help generate some income for those who need it most.\u201d<\/p>

The day boasted a variety of stalls, interesting and delicious food and fun activities for the children, including face painting, games and a Spur Sing Star Contest.<\/p>\n

Guests were kept entertained with music from local musicians Natalie, Narboth Mathole, KeenMarshall, Traci, Wesley Skolwane, Jason and DJ Trenzy.<\/p>\n

The team from Thunder MMA also gave an interactive demonstration on the day.<\/p>\n

The next market will be held on November 2 from 9am.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are hoping to support one of our local charities by collecting non-perishable food and toiletries on the day,\u201d said Natalie.<\/p>\n
