Now though the annual event attracts hundreds of cars each year and even more motoring enthusiasts. The 2019 edition of the event will take place on Sunday, 4 August at Zwarktkops Raceway; the gates will be open to classic and collectable cars at 6:00 while spectators will gain access from 8:00.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe encourage owners\u00a0who are exhibiting their classic cars to arrive as early as possible. The gates for classic cars will be open from 6 am while paying\u00a0spectators will be allowed access from 8 am,\u201d Frik Kraamwinkel, chief organiser, Pretoria Old Motor Club.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-208033\" src=\"https:\/\/kemptonexpress.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2019\/07\/The-Mustang-Bullitt-commemorative-model-to-be-shown-by-Lazarus-Ford-at-Cars-in-the-Park-on-August-4..jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This year will not only see extremely rare classic cars such as the 1903 Peugeot, believed to be one of just four in the world, but also some special modern cars like the 2019 Ford Mustang, Bullitt version, displayed by Lazerus Ford of Centurion. The modern iteration Mustang received stylistic enhancements and the signature green body paint to resemble the 1968 Mustang 390 GT driven by Steve McQueen during one of the most famous car chases in cinematic history.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-208034\" src=\"https:\/\/kemptonexpress.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2019\/07\/The-amazingly-cute-1903-Peugeot-will-be-the-oldest-car-at-this-years-Cars-in-the-Park.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There will be dozens of stalls selling refreshments, food and memorabilia amongst all the classic vehicles.
