{"id":211994,"date":"2019-07-18T10:30:00","date_gmt":"2019-07-18T08:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/211994\/children-enjoy-fun-and-games-courtesy-of-sanvik-ahead-of-mandela-day\/"},"modified":"2019-07-18T13:30:32","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T11:30:32","slug":"children-enjoy-fun-and-games-courtesy-of-sanvik-ahead-of-mandela-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2019\/07\/18\/children-enjoy-fun-and-games-courtesy-of-sanvik-ahead-of-mandela-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Children enjoy fun and games courtesy of Sanvik ahead of Mandela Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In celebrating Nelson Mandela\u2019s legacy ahead of International Nelson Mandela Day on Thursday, Sandvik, a mining company in Jet Park, Boksburg, made an auspicious donation to Ithembelihle Lsen School on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Sandvik employees ran a food donation drive at their branch to aid the school with much-needed groceries.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cWe decided to spend our 67 minutes teaching the children about environmental wellness and physical health,\u201d said Annie Dean from Sandvik.<\/p>\n<p>Educational games, a puppet show and music-related games were all part of the agenda of the day to get the children active in the field.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<div class='tie-fluid-width-video-wrapper tie-ignore-fitvid' style='margin-bottom: 30px;'>\n\t\t\t<iframe style='width: 100%;
