Netcare 911 paramedics raced to the scene of an accident on the M2 highway in Germiston, last Sunday at 10.49pm.<\/p>\n
\u201cReports from the scene indicated that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control when he tried to avoid a gas bottle in his lane,\u201d explained Shawn Herbst, media liaison officer for Netcare Limited.<\/p>
\u201cIn the process the vehicle crashed into the barrier and rolled.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 73-year-old male driver sustained minor injuries and was treated on the scene.<\/p>
\u201cOnce stabilised the patient was transported by Netcare 911 ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment,\u201d said Herbst.<\/p>\n
