{"id":205872,"date":"2019-05-27T10:57:29","date_gmt":"2019-05-27T08:57:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/205872\/entries-flood-miss-south-africa-2019\/"},"modified":"2019-05-27T10:57:29","modified_gmt":"2019-05-27T08:57:29","slug":"entries-flood-miss-south-africa-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/lifestyle-news\/entertainment-news\/2019\/05\/27\/entries-flood-miss-south-africa-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Entries flood in for Miss South Africa 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In less than a fortnight, since the call for entries was first announced, more than 300 hopefuls have already applied to enter Miss South Africa 2019, with the winner set to be crowned on Women\u2019s Day on August 9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Miss South Africa Organisation has made the entry process as easy as possible which means there are no forms to download and no regional auditions to which hopefuls have to travel.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Those who wish to enter can simply visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.misssa.co.za\">www.misssa.co.za<\/a>, fill in a number of questions and upload pictures from their social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted the reach to be wider this year and give young women from any region of the country the opportunity to take part,\u201d said Stephanie Weil of the Miss South Africa Organisation<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>It seems likely that a record number of entries will be received this year. Last year, just short of 500 young women entered the pageant despite entry process being opened for a much longer period.<\/p>\n<p>Entries for this year&#8217;s competition close on June 10. To enter, go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.misssa.co.za\">www.misssa.co.za<\/a> and click &#8216;How to Enter&#8217; at the bottom of the page.
