Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) has given the GCN some more information regarding the train fire which took place in Dinwiddie on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Firefighters from Wadeville Fire Station responded promptly to the train fire incident at Union Station which occurred at 6.34am.<\/p>
\u201cThe crew responded with two fire engines, namely a water tanker and a major industrial pumper,\u201d said William Ntladi, district manager media liaison for DEMS.<\/p>\n
\u201cUpon arrival, it was found that last carriage combination of the train was on fire.<\/p>
\u201cThe crews immediately started an offensive attack and managed to bring the flames under control.\u201d<\/p>\n
