As the city\u2019s power woes continue, the metro has responded to the many queries sent by the GCN.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is high prevalence of cable faults in and around the Lambton area,\u201d said Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the metro.<\/p>
\u201cWe are in the process of rerouting and upgrading the whole electricity network infrastructure.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis project is planned for the next three financial years, starting from 2019\/20.<\/p>
\u201cAt the moment we are doing our best to attend to all outages and minimise the impact to all our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n
