The staff at Dinwiddie Primary School, together with the learners stealthily put together a surprise birthday celebration for their principal, Gail du Preez, last Friday.

The surprise 60th birthday celebration was scheduled a day before Gail’s birthday, giving her the perfect kick-start to her milestone birthday.

The children learnt a special happy birthday song, which they sang to a completely surprised Gail as she was ushered onto the school’s sports field.
