A 26-year-old man was left seriously injured on Wednesday following a hit-and-run incident on Power Road in Germiston South.<\/p>\n
\u201cER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 7.10am to find the man lying in the middle of the road,\u201d said Russel Meiring, communications officer for ER24.<\/p>
\u201cParamedics quickly assessed the man and found that he had sustained a serious injury to his leg, leaving him in a serious condition.\u201d<\/p>\n
The man was treated for his injury and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital for further treatment.<\/p>
The vehicle that hit the man was not found on the scene.<\/p>\n
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.<\/p>\n
