A man, believed to be 19 years old, was killed on Saturday afternoon when he was knocked over by a light motor vehicle on the N3 highway in Germiston.<\/p>\n
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 4pm to find the body of a man lying in the middle lane of the highway.<\/p>
Another service was found on scene assessing the patient.<\/p>\n
\u201cUpon further assessment, paramedics discovered that the man had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life,\u201d said Russel Meiring, from ER24 corporate communications.<\/p>
\u201cParamedics immediately began treatment and initiated CPR.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnfortunately, after some time, no vital signs returned, and he was declared dead.\u201d<\/p>\n
