The Solheim west-side road closure is going ahead.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe committee\u2019s hard work and persistence has paid off.<\/p>
\u201cWe are glad to announce that we have all the approved documents from all the relevant departments of the metro for the booming off of our area,\u201d said Barbara Parker, the communications officer of the Solheim Road Closure committee.<\/p>\n
It has taken over five years of patience and hard work on the part of the residents of Solheim to get the final approval from the municipality.<\/p>
Construction on the closure began this week.<\/p>\n
