class=\"anchor_post\" href=\"http:\/\/www.weathersa.co.za\/warnings?region=rsa\" target=\"_blank\">veld fires, severe thunderstorms, heavy rain and damaging winds<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The service\u2019s website explained that the hot and dry weather conditions, that are once again, gripping most of the\u00a0province\u00a0has led to an extremely high fire danger.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item released the following warnings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Severe Thunderstorms<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Severe thunderstorms with the possibility of large hail and damaging winds and reduced visibility expected in some areas of Gauteng.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Veld Fires<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Veld Fires may be expected in places in Gauteng due to the hot weather.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists are reminded to take the necessary precautions when travelling.<\/p>\n<p>They are encouraged to reduce speed and increase their following distance and headlights should be kept on at all times to increase visibility.<\/p>\n<p>Residents should also ensure that they shelter their pets.<\/p>\n<p>In addition residents are once again reminded that temperatures are set to hits highs of 35 today (Wednesday) and remain in the 30s until Friday.<\/p>\n<p>To protect your health during these hot temperatures, remember to keep cool, drink plenty of liquids and stay out of the sun as much as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Heatstroke and dehydration are a serious risk for both animals and humans during this time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Severe heat stroke or exhaustion signs or symptoms include the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Severe headache.<\/li>\n<li>Weakness or disorientation.<\/li>\n<li>Nausea or vomiting.<\/li>\n<li>Muscle cramps.<\/li>\n<li>Severe thirst.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"twenty_seventeen_advert_slider\">\n<div
