The metro is calling upon its residents to apply for bursaries for the 2019 academic year.

Bursary applications close on December 14.

Application forms can be downloaded from the metro’s website at www.ekurhuleni.gov.za, and once filled in, they should be handed in at any of the metro’s public libraries, Customer Care Centres (CCCs) or youth offices based at the CCCs.

Bursaries are open to the youth of Ekurhuleni who are permanent residents, have a good academic record and potential to study towards a full-time bachelor’s degree, national diploma, or certificates in specialised and accredited learning programmes.

These should be programmes from recognised and accredited higher and further education training institutions.
