The annual Carnival City Macsteel National Classic Cycle Race is fast approaching.<\/p>\n
The 35th annual event, organised by the Rotary Club of Germiston and Germiston Wheelers Cycling Club, attracts thousands of entries every year and will be held on October 28 and 29.<\/p>
This ever-popular race will follow the same format as in previous years, starting with the mountain bike race being held on the Saturday and the road race on the Sunday.<\/p>\n
The route, however, has changed from last year and no longer uses the R554 between Carnival City and Osborn Road, in Germiston and the R103 between Osborn and Diana roads.<\/p>
Several roads will be affected by the race.<\/p>\n
