In addition to its 95 primary healthcare facilities, an additional 14 mobile clinics that travel the length and breadth of informal settlements to provide much-needed care to residents, can be boasted about by the metro.<\/p>\n
The mobile clinics visit identified informal settlements across Ekurhuleni and operate between 9am and 3pm.<\/p>
Each clinic has a dedicated team consisting of two nurses and a driver and they work tirelessly to nurse the community that is not within a three to five-kilometre radius of an established clinic.<\/p>\n
