The protestors were demanding to speak to the metro\u2019s mayor, Mzwandile Masina, the city manager, Dr Imogen Mashazi and the HOD of the metro\u2019s Department of Solid Waste.<\/p>\n Eskom power lines damaged in Wadeville recycling company fire causes widespread power outage<\/a><\/strong><\/p> Many Germiston suburbs were plunged into darkness after a fire broke out at a Wadeville recycling company recently. The fire spread through dozens of cardboard bales stored on the Commercial Road company\u2019s premises under the overhead Eskom power lines and burnt and damaged the lines.<\/p>\n Rand Airport home to one of four Starliners in the world<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n It was a cloudy Wednesday morning when the fuselage and wings of the Lockheed L1649A Starliner would again be joined. The reassembly took place at Phoebus Apollo Aviation in hangar 17 at Rand Airport.
