{"id":184008,"date":"2018-08-01T12:27:10","date_gmt":"2018-08-01T10:27:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/184008\/30-minute-meals-pasta-works\/"},"modified":"2018-08-01T12:27:10","modified_gmt":"2018-08-01T10:27:10","slug":"30-minute-meals-pasta-works","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/lifestyle-news\/2018\/08\/01\/30-minute-meals-pasta-works\/","title":{"rendered":"30-minute meals: Pasta with the works"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Spoil the kiddies (and yourself) with the yummy meal that you can have ready in 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>You will need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One medium green pepper, cut into a strips.<\/li>\n<li>Half a cup thinly sliced pepperoni.<\/li>\n<li>Two cups pasta sauce.<\/li>\n<li>A third of a cup pitted ripe olives, cut in half.<\/li>\n<li>Three cups spiral pasta, cooked and drained.<\/li>\n<li>One cup grated mozzarella cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Grated Parmesan cheese.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>What to do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cook the pepper strips and pepperoni in a pan over medium heat until the pepper strips are tender crisp, stirring often.<\/p>\n<p>Stir the pasta sauce and olives and bring to a boil.<\/p>\n<p>Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for a further 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in the pasta in mozzarella cheese.
