Since its inception in May 2016, the Peermont Hotel School (PHS), a CSI initiative of Emperors Palace, has changed the lives of over 780 local youngsters.

The school has done this by giving them theoretical training in various aspects of the hospitality industry, as well as offering them the chance to gain practical insight into vital roles within the industry.

In keeping with Peermont’s efforts in providing a sustainable future for the youth in the Ekurhuleni area, the Peermont Community Benefit Trust is once again offering fully-funded skills programmes to successful candidates at the PHS.

Local residents, between the ages of 18 and 25, who have their sights set on becoming a chef, waitron or housekeeper are encouraged to apply for a sponsorship which will give successful applicants the opportunity to complete a four-month course at the school in one of the above-mentioned skills programmes.
