Three people were killed in road accidents on Saturday involving motorcycles, trucks and a minibus.<\/p>\n
An Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) rescue team from the Primrose Fire Station responded to a call at 6pm on Wit Deep Road in Boksburg.<\/p>
Two bikers, believed to be a couple, died after a head-on collision with a truck on the road.<\/p>\n
\u201cUpon arrival, two people and a motorcycle were found lying on the road next to each other in front of an articulated truck,\u201d said William Ntladi, district manager media liaison for DEMS.<\/p>
\u201cThe two adult patients succumbed to their injuries and were declared dead on scene by paramedics while the truck driver escaped with no injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n
