Instead of turning up the heat, put on another layer of clothing.<\/li>\n<li>Wear a hat \u2013 Your mom may have said that you lose 80 per cent of your body heat through your head, but that\u2019s not actually true.\u00a0If you\u2019re otherwise clothed, you\u2019ll lose heat from any surface that\u2019s exposed. So put on your hat, even if you\u2019re inside.<\/li>\n<li>Switch between hot and cold water in the shower \u2013 Hot showers immediately warm you up, but cold showers improve blood circulation
