unhygienic measures during their menstrual cycle.<\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, Palesa Pads and Thlathlogi Foundation in their joint vision of #KeepingAGirlChildInSchool paid the Grade 10 to 12 girls at Sijabulile Secondary School in Katlehong a visit on Thursday to give a talk on personal hygiene concerning reusable sanitary pads.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post together for a fun night out<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>\u201cPalesa Pads brings a sustainable solution to the \u2018period crisis\u2019 that Africa at large is facing, by manufacturing reusable sanitary pads which last up to five years,\u201d said Tshepo Moabelo, the client satisfaction consultant for Palesa Pads.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are dedicated to bringing an end to the cycle of girls missing over three days of school every month due to the lack of pads or the girls resorting to unhygienic alternatives such as newspapers, cow dung and lappies, to name a few, as sanitary care,\u201d she said.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Over 300 girls received Palesa Pads packages and party packs sponsored by Thlathlogi Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur school is fortunate to have been selected as recipients of this donation because these reusable pads will assist our girls greatly as we often run out of pads and are
