{"id":177253,"date":"2018-04-25T13:15:37","date_gmt":"2018-04-25T11:15:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/177253\/30-minute-meals-cheese-ravioli-spinach-bacon\/"},"modified":"2018-04-25T13:15:37","modified_gmt":"2018-04-25T11:15:37","slug":"30-minute-meals-cheese-ravioli-spinach-bacon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/lifestyle-news\/2018\/04\/25\/30-minute-meals-cheese-ravioli-spinach-bacon\/","title":{"rendered":"30-minute meals: Cheese ravioli with spinach and bacon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This kid friendly meal is not only quick, easy and delicious, but will also satisfy those picky eaters.<\/p>\n<p><b>You will need:<br \/>\n<\/b>* 250g bacon, cut into small pieces.<br \/>\n* Half a cup non-alcoholic white wine.<br \/>\n* One packet fresh or frozen cheese ravioli.<br \/>\n* One cup frozen chopped spinach.<br \/>\n* Half a teaspoon salt and a quarter teaspoon pepper.<br \/>\n* Two tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.<br \/>\n* Freshly grated Parmesan cheese.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p><b>What to do:<br \/>\n<\/b>Boil a large pot of water.<br \/>\nWhile it&#8217;s heating, cook the bacon pieces in a large pan until crispy. Cook the pasta according to the directions, minus one minute.<br \/>\nWhile the pasta cooks, add the wine to the bacon pan and deglaze the bottom. Drain the pasta and reserve one cup of the cooking water.<br \/>\nAdd the hot pasta to the pan, and then pour in the frozen chopped spinach.
