suspended pending R50-million investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the special council meeting held on April 4, the ANC caucus has welcomed the decision on the process of testing the allegations of financial misconduct against Clr Lusanda Madikizela.<\/p>\n<p>The allegations against the head of department for transport planning and provision are to be subjected and tested through an independent disciplinary process and in line with the disciplinary regulations for senior managers.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Madikizela was suspended last month pending investigations into irregular expenditure of R50-million by her department.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurthermore,
