note of the new traffic light on AG De Witt Drive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new traffic light has been installed at the intersection of Main Road and AG De Witt Drive in Solheim.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere have been many requests from residents to do something about this intersection and after a meeting with the roads department in 2017, it was decided to make these changes,\u201d said Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Morgan is advising residents to be aware of a number of changes which have been made at the intersection, as well as the fact that there is now a traffic light there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResidents need to be aware as there is going to be a change to the traffic flow on the road,\u201d Morgan said.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThere have been a number of accidents on these roads and travelling up the hill to Kloof Road over the years and it is hoped that this robot will help prevent more accidents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">ALSO
