for National Yearling Sale now online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The catalogue for the 2018 National Yearling Sale is available online and can be viewed at www.bsa.co.za.<\/p>\n<p>Scheduled to take place over three days, the 2018 National Yearling Sale is set to take place at the TBA (Thoroughbred Breeders Association) Complex in Gosforth Park from April 24 to 26.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>For the first time in recent years, the sale will be divided into two different sections, with day one devoted to a select session.<\/p>\n<p>The first session, which goes up to lot 231, continues into the second day of the sale.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Each day of trading will commence at 11.30am, with the first day ending on lot 170.<\/p>\n<p>Day two will see lots up to 350 go under the hammer, while the third and final day will see the remainder of the yearlings pass through the ring.<\/p>\n<p>The cream of South African yearlings will be on offer, once again, at the National Yearling Sale, with top stallions Captain Al, Dynasty, Silvano, Trippi and Var all well represented.<\/p>\n<p>Promising younger sires such as Elusive Fort, Gimmethegreenlight, Querari, Twice Over and What A Winter also have attractive drafts Flower Alley, Kingsbarns, Linngari, Soft Falling Rain, Time Thief, Vercingetorix and Wylie Hall (both Capetown Noir and Vercingetorix are former graduates of the National Yearling Sale).<\/p>\n<p>There are also yearlings on the sale sired by proven G1 sire, but now deceased Archipenko, and the hugely promising Galileo sire Nathaniel \u2013 whose very first crop produced European Horse Of The Year and five time G1 winner Enable.<\/p>\n<p>As per usual, the National Yearling Sale offers buyers the chance to purchase stock of some of South Africa\u2019s best broodmares and race mares.<\/p>\n<p>No fewer than 13 G1 winners are represented at the sale, including two of South Africa\u2019s finest race mares of recent years, in Triple Tiara winner Cherry On The Top and durable Met winner River Jetez (the latter being an own sister to triple Horse Of The Year Pocket Power).<\/p>\n<p>The 2018 National Yearling Sale also offers full or half siblings to such G1 winners as Afrikaburn (Lot 91), Capetown Noir (Lot 83), Copper Parade (Lot 126), Elusive Gold (Lot 115), Eyes Wide Open (Lot 193), Irish Flame (Lot 118), Lady In Black (Lot 214), Legislate (Lot 112), Martial Eagle (Lot 29), Master Plan (Lot 23),Nightingale (Lot 5), Noordhoek Flyer (Lot 31), Orbison (Lot 363), Querari Falcon (Lot 228), Snowdance (Lot 45), Talahatchie (Lot 131), Wagner (Lot 127) and Equus Champions Wild One (Lot 143) and Yorker (Lot 191).<\/p>\n<p>Graduates of the National Yearling Sale have continued to impress, with graduates including this season\u2019s outstanding filly
