Germiston Lake provided a picture-perfect backdrop for the Cool Dad\u2019s Foundation\u2019s Family Fiesta Fun Walk last Sunday.<\/p>\n

The event was hosted to help raise funds for the organisation\u2019s Big Brother Mentorship Programme, which focuses on mentoring young fathers and young men through workshops, camps and various other activities.<\/p>

The group\u2019s vision is to grow the programme into a nationally recognised network of fathers with a passion for fatherhood.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a fun-filled day where families got together to enjoy a morning walk or run.<\/p>\n

\u201cAttendees then enjoyed a family picnic on the sun-kissed lawns of the Germiston Lake, where a number of DJ\u2019s entertained the crowd,\u201d said Bongani Luvalo, Cool Dad\u2019s Foundation CEO.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe extend a heartfelt thank you to all the stakeholders who made this event such a success and of course to all the participants who supported this event, we truly appreciate the support.\u201d<\/p>\n

The group hopes to host another event next year and has already begun planning in the hope of attracting an even bigger crowd.<\/p>\n
