vehicles to help save lives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) have added another six brand new medical response vehicles worth about R1.800 000-million to their fleet.<\/p>\n<p>These are in addition to the fleet which was launched on August 26.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>The metro felt it was important to beef up resources to its emergency services, in order to put more stability and sustainability into their response to medical emergencies, especially with a busy festive season anticipated.<\/p>\n<p>The metro is committed to the upliftment of matters which pertain to quality service delivery.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cStrengthening our resources will improve response time and more lives will be preserved,\u201d said William Ntladi, district manager media liaison for DEMS.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter the finalisation of all relevant documents for these primary response vehicles (PRV), relevant paramedics from the three operational regions of the
