Recently opened in Germiston, Soaring Spa situated at Hangar 34 at Rand Airport, offers Thai treatments which are sure to impress even the most difficult person on your gift list.<\/p>\n
The fully trained therapists offer customers the following: traditional Thai massage, aromatherapy Thai massage, deep tissue massage, back and neck massage, pregnancy massage and Thai foot reflexology.<\/p>

Owned by Samantha van der Merwe, Soaring Spa was always a dream of hers.<\/p>\n \u201cI have always wanted to open a place where people could just unwind and recharge,\u201d Samantha said.<\/p>\n \u201cSoaring Spa is that place where people are pampered and leave rejuvenated.\u201d<\/p>\n The GCN visited the spa for a treatment to see exactly why Thai massage was recommended.<\/p>\n Because I am interested in reflexology and the benefits, I opted for the Thai foot reflexology.<\/p>\n My therapist, Thembi Mbodlana, greeted me enthusiastically and after filling in a form and taking off my shoes, I was ready to lie back and experience the treatment.<\/p>\n Not knowing what to expect, I was surprised to feel pain (not unbearable) in my feet especially when Thembi massaged certain areas.<\/p>\n She explained that each part of the foot relates to a part of the body and the pain was as a result of her releasing tension in those areas of the body.<\/p>\n The reflexology was an interesting experience and I must say I did feel the release of tension throughout my entire body as if Thembi had been giving me a full body massage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ALSO READ:<\/span><\/p>\n Sale to help make Christmas special<\/a><\/p>\n Local patroller cycles to make a difference<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Thembi is a wonderful therapist.
